so i spent 12 hours in the lab yesterday, came home and slept for 6 hours, and now i'm back in the lab again for who knows how long

the longer i stay in here, the more i get annoyed at those acusations that us labbies are "NEVER IN THE LAB"

Did i ever mention that i fucking love being an artist?

I got a pedicure the other day. I hadn't had one in about a year and it always makes me feel really pretty :) whenever I look down, it's like there's shiny blueberries on my feet. It had been a really annoying day. I had to sit next to this douchebag who asked 'WHATR THEY PAYING YOU FOR??' when I told him I didn't know how to adjust the computer screen, and he was super fucking smelly. Protip for guys: body spray will not cover up the fact that you haven't brushed your teeth in about a week. Near the end he started yawning and I couldn't deal with it any more so I just left. Then my professor was trying to talk to me and show me this thing with IPR rendering and why is it not working and spending 5 minutes messing around trying to figure it out and hey this project is for two classes so it better be extra good etc etc. Some days I just want to work, you know?

Today I slept in and then went and bought a big kid's portfolio

so i get do some digital drawings for my drawing class and i'm a little too excited about it 8O

i have to go to some gay portfolio thing in austin tomorrow so i wont be able to draw much, which is lame

oh yeah i'm done with my demoreel which means i'll probably be able to send the rest of my required crap off to calarts tomorrow :O

i'm getting tired of this. i want to draw again

i had another calarts dream last night

i drempt there was a "trial" portion to the review process which invloved me finding a peanut in a metal lamp that had a hidden compartment in the middle. i pulled out the compartment and the reviewers were in there with the peanut, saying "SHE FOUND US, I GUESS IT"S TIME TO COME OUT". they told me to include the peanut in my portfolio

then i put the peanut in my mouth and asked them if it was ok to put a soggy peanut in my portfolio
